CookNSolo, the Philadelphia hospitality group behind such celebrated concepts as Zahav, Laser Wolf, K’Far, Dizengoff, Goldie, Jaffa Bar, and Lilah Events is hiring a General Manager to join our growing team. We are seeking an experienced candidate to be a part of our dedicated staff. This person will join a management team whose mission is to create a nurturing, educational and exciting environment for the staff, so that they can extend that knowledge and energy to our guests. A General Manager is expected to: Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively, and take corrective action as necessary, in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy Work closely with your front of house and kitchen managers to oversee service, train line-level staff, communicate with the back of house team, and handle administrative tasks Have a desire to learn, a strong sense of empathy & hospitality, enjoy interacting with people and working in a fast-paced environment Lead by example at all times Touch all tables and make connections with guests to ensure 100% guest satisfaction and rectify any negative impressions Guarantee product quality and service standards are maintained at all times Collaborate with the entire management team, corporate team and ownership to develop, implement and execute restaurant priorities Process payroll and administer schedules The right candidate is exceedingly dependable, puts forth a great attitude, and is looking to both learn and grow every day. Starting salary is $80,000+, based on experience.5 years prior management experience required. Candidates with applicable General Manager experience preferred.This full-time position is eligible to enroll in subsidized health insurance, vision and dental insurance, a wellness program, transportation and parking benefits, considerable dining discounts at company-owned concepts, paid sick leave and two weeks of paid vacation. After one year of service, the candidate may enter the company 401(k) plan.
